After reading Kevin Fanning’s post on the worst pop song of all time - and his entry is a pretty bad one, admittedly - let me add LFO’s gem “Summer Girls” to the mix. (And for what it’s worth: I’m one of three Asians who doesn’t get mad because of the line “Chinese food makes me sick,” mostly because that line shines compares to the gem “When you take a sip you buzz like a hornet / Billy Shakespeare wrote a whole bunch of sonnets.” WHAT HOW COULD YOU THAT DOESN’T EVEN RHYME.
UPDATE: Awww, what? The lead singer died of a stroke due to leukemia? Aww you guys, now I feel like a dick.
